TOUR DESCRIPTION
This tour is planned for people who want to visit Cusco slowly and see the most important sites.

Chinchero is a place where you will see how the Incas used their techniques to dying their textiles.

Moray is a place where you will see how the Incas wanted to adapt products from other regions that they visited.

Salt mines is a place where you will see how the pre Incas extracted and crystalized the salt from the salty water.

Pisaq is divided into two areas, the old one, the Inca archaeological site, located in the upper part and the current cultural one, located in the valley, dated from the colonial time. Its main square is an entertaining place full of color and with various handmade items for sale.

Ollantaytambo was a military, agricultural and religious center to administer and control the Sacred Valley of the Incas this is deduced because of the constructions that were agricultural deposits and also for military use.

Machu Picchu was built in the fifteenth century and then abandoned, is famous for its sophisticated fine stone walls that combine huge blocks without the use of mortar, fascinating buildings that were related to astronomical alignments and panoramic views.

Saqsayhuaman is an Inca "ceremonial fortress" located two kilometers to the north of the city of Cusco.

Qenqo is a complex that had religious function, it has an amphitheater with semicircular form with trapezoidal niches and a monolith that has the form of cougar.

Qoricancha is possibly the most important building of the Tawantinsuyo empire, Qoricancha is a word that was gen to the Inca Temple of the Sun. During the conquest, the temple was destroyed and looted.

The archaeological complex of Tipon has the largest irrigation systems on its terraces also called platforms, the incredible distribution of outdoor water pipes.

Oropesa is a place where you will see how people bake bread in old ovens there are more than 80 ovens in all the town, they provide with about 50% of bread to Cusco early in the morning.

Pikillaqta is a pre inca place, it has about 2 kilometers of area, it has about 700 buildings, 200 kanchas or houses, more than 500 qolqas or granaries.

TOUR SUMMARY
Day 1: Tour of Chinchero, Moray and Salineras, about 05 hours.
Day 2: Tour of Alpaca Farm, Pisaq ruins and Pisaq market about 05 hours.
Day 3: Tour of Ollantaytambo, about 02 hours.
Day 4: Tour of Machu Picchu, about 3 hours.
Day 5: Tour of Saqsayhuaman, Qenqo and Qoricancha, about 04 hours.
Day 6: Tour of Tipon, Oropesa and Pikillaqta, about 5 hours.

DETAILED TOUR:

DAY 1: ARRIVE IN CUSCO / CHINCHERO, MORAY AND SALINERAS
Morning arrival to Cusco after that pick you up from Cusco airport and transfer you to your hotel in Urubamba(the Sacred Valley), on the way you will visit Chinchero (weaving demonstration workshops), Moray (the agricultural Inca lab) and Salineras (the Inca Salt Mines).
Lunch in Urubamba
Overnight in Urubamba or Ollantaytambo at a nice hotel.

DAY 2: VISIT ALPACA FARM, PISAQ RUINS AND PISAQ MARKET
09:00 Pick you up from your hotel then you will visit: Alpaca Farm(the alpaca farm), Pisaq Ruins and Pisaq traditional Market.
Lunch in Urubamba.
Overnight in Urubamba or Ollantaytambo at a nice hotel.

DAY 3: VISIT OLLANTAYTAMBO FORTRESS / OLLANTAYTAMBO TRAIN STATION
10:00 Pick you up from your hotel then you will visit: Ollantaytambo Fortress and the town.
Lunch in Ollantaytambo.
Transfer to Ollantaytambo train station.
16:38 Take the Inca Rail train from Ollantaytambo to Machu Picchu Pueblo.
19:00 Briefing at your hotel in Machu Picchu Pueblo for the following day tour.
Overnight in Machu Picchu Pueblo at a nice hotel.

DAY 4: VISIT MACHU PICCHU / CUSCO
06:00 Take the bus up to Machu Picchu citadel (about 25 minutes).
07:00 Guided tour of Machu Picchu (about 03 hours) then you will have the rest of time to explore the area on your own.
12:30 Take the bus down to Machu Picchu Pueblo.
14:30 Take the Inca Rail train from Machu Picchu Pueblo to Ollantaytambo train station.
15:55 Arrive in Ollantaytambo, pick you up from the train station to transfer you to Cusco.
18:30 Arrive in Cusco and you’ll be transferred to your hotel.
Overnight in Cusco at a nice hotel.

DAY 5: VISIT CUSCO CITY
09:00 Pick you up from your hotel to visit the surrounding ruins of Cusco: Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo and Qoricancha.
Overnight in Cusco at a nice hotel.

DAY 6: VISIT TIPON, PIKILLAQTA, OROPESA / AIRPORT
08:00 Pick you up from your hotel to do the Southern Valley, which includes stops at Tipon (the Inca Temple of the Water God), Oropesa (the bread town) and Pikillaqta (The only pre-Inca site in Cusco region).
Transfer to the airport of Cusco for your late afternoon flight to Lima.
